The pre-contractual information a buyer is entitled to before paying.
1. Scope and parties
These terms govern sales made through Bazin between a seller and a buyer. The seller is identified on the listing and, for a professional seller, in the trader information block.
The platform's operator is named in the legal notice. The operator is not the seller of the item.
2. Items and descriptions
Each listing states the item's condition, size, fabric, measurements where taken, and the pieces included. Photographs are of the actual item.
A pre-owned item may show signs of wear consistent with its stated condition. A defect that is not stated is a non-conformity.
3. Price and additional costs
Prices are in euros, all taxes included. The buyer protection fee and the delivery cost are added and shown in the basket before payment.
No cost is added after the order is confirmed. A promotion is only shown against a reference price that has actually been charged or offered for that item.
4. Order and payment
The order is confirmed when payment is accepted. The amount is held by the payment provider until the order is settled: fourteen days after delivery, or after a return or dispute is resolved.
If a payment fails, no order is created and no amount is collected.
5. Delivery
Delivery is offered only where a corridor exists between the item's origin and the buyer's destination. The estimated lead time and the carrier are shown before payment.
Risk passes to the buyer on delivery. Where a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, the dispute process applies.
6. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer buying at a distance, you have fourteen days from delivery to withdraw without giving a reason. You then have fourteen days to return the item.
The item must be returned in the condition in which it was received, with the pieces included. The direct cost of returning the item is borne by the buyer unless the seller agrees otherwise.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to items made to the buyer's specifications or clearly personalised.
7. Returns and refunds
The return window shown on the order is the seller's declared window. A return request opens that window; the order keeps the dates it was given.
A refund is issued to the original payment method once the return is received or the dispute is decided. Money held in escrow is never released to the seller while a return or dispute is open.
8. Legal guarantees
Independently of any commercial warranty, the seller owes the legal guarantee of conformity (two years from delivery in the European Union) and the guarantee against hidden defects.
To rely on a guarantee, open a dispute from the order and state the defect. The platform transmits the claim to the seller and records the outcome.
9. Complaints and mediation
A complaint is first addressed to the platform's support at the address shown in the legal notice. If no solution is found, a consumer may use the consumer mediator designated by the operator.
No consumer mediator is designated in this build; the field is set by the operator before launch, and the legal notice says so until it is.
Your rights where you live · France
Bazin applies the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence in the European Union or the European Economic Area. No clause in these documents can reduce those rights. The seller is the person named on the listing: Bazin is not the seller.
- 14-day right of withdrawal
- For a distance contract you generally have 14 days from delivery to withdraw without giving a reason. Goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, such as an alteration or a piece adjusted to your measurements, are excluded from that right.
- Legal guarantee of conformity
- A professional seller is liable for the conformity of the goods for at least two years, and for two years a defect is presumed to have existed at delivery (Directive (EU) 2019/771). A private seller does not provide that statutory guarantee unless the listing states otherwise.
- Seller status and notices
- Every listing states whether the seller acts as a trader, as required by Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services (DSA). Unlawful content can be reported from its page; the decision is reasoned and the affected seller has an internal appeal route.
- Personal data (GDPR)
- You exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability from the privacy centre. You may also lodge a complaint with the independent supervisory authority of your country of residence.
- Consumer disputes
- You may turn to a consumer mediation body or to the European Consumer Centre (eccnet.eu), without giving up the courts competent for your home.
